Yoga, says Shilpa, is “a management system for life and it is the most holistic approach to life that I have ever come across. It strengthens, tones and cures. It works on body, mind and soul. Yoga has had a spectacular impact on my life.”
Yoga also encourages renewed blood flow throughout the body by improving circulation. Blood circulation is vitally important to the skin; it helps bring nutrients in and carry toxins out. Many postures (asanas, i.e. “downward-facing dog”) in yoga stimulate increased blood flow to the face, helping clear away acne and dullness to bring on a youthful glow.
